7th grade feedback

1. What piece of work and learning are you most proud? Explain.
The giver themes poster is the piece of work I think I am most proud of, because I put a lot of effort into it and I tired really hard to make it good. I also think it was my favorite piece of and the one I am most proud of because I thought it was really fun and a good idea.

2. What were your greatest challenges? Explain.
I think my greatest challenge was finding the class rooms because they are all over the place and some are really hard to find. Like Mrs.McQeen because her room is hidden really well. I also found that the homework was hard to mannage because in 5th grade we did not get much homework.

3. Reflecting on your growth this year, what did you learn about yourself as a learner?
During this year My growth has been that my reading has improved and I learned what type of books I like, Adventure. I found this out only this year because we read 4 books this year and I really liked most of them because it had a lot of adventure in it.

4. To evaluate your work habits, choose 1 of the following from each category ( and provide explanations):


a) Behavior
My behavior could be improved a little. I think if my behavior improves my grades would be better. Also to improve my behavior I could pay attention and not sit with people that make me not pay attention.

b) Participation
I think that my participation is good. I think this because in most of my subjects I participate a lot. I think this because I have good idea's and I understand most of the things that we do in all our classes.

c) Organization
My organization is really good. I think this because I know I am really organised and I have everything I need for all of my subjects. I also hand work on time most of the time but I could improve to have work in 100% on time.

d) Effort
I think my effort is good. I think this becuase Iput effort in to my work. But I could go the extra mile and put more effort into my work. Also I am an alright student and I work hard on most of the work I do.

Save the Earth

Everyone can help save the earth. There are many ways to do it though. Like the three r's... reuse, reduce, recycle. There is also don't buy anything you don't need or buy a environmental product like bio-degradable shampoo. I am going to tell you a few paragraphs about how I help save the world. You can also follow and do these things as well.

Reuse:
Reuse means that if you have a bottle of water instead of buying anther water bottle just go refill it and it will save you money and help the world a bit. Reuse also means (if you have not noticed yet) that you need to use things more than once or else your just wasting what you bought unless you now you will keep it. You can also reuse stuff by making things out of it. Like if you have a cardboard box and your just about to throw it away use your imagination and make something out of it or you could even just put old toys in it.

Reduce:
Reduce means you don't use as much stuff as usual. Similar to the water bottle thing but to reduce plastic bottles altogether you can buy from the shop a water bottle and bring it everywhere with you so you don't have to buy plastic one's. Also it saves the environment because you are not wasting resources. I reduce when I go to P.E every other day, I bring a metal water bottle so that I don't have to waste my money on plastic water bottles and pollute the earth.

Recycle:
Recycling is important because with out it the earth would be almost covered in plastic. To recycle is easy. Just locate a recycling bin. Put your plastic bottles or aluminum cans into it and there you go it will be recycled and you are saving the world one small step at a time. To help save the earth recycle. If you see a plastic bottle or aluminum can on the floor gp put it in the trash and now that you are saving the earth and if you continue to do this with others you can save the world.

Malaysia Week

I just got back from Malaysia Week.( That is when the whole middle school goes out of the school for one week and do activities in the rain forest and on the beach.) I went to a place called Kuala Ghanda. There we went into the forest and camped for one night. At that camp we learned basic survival. The next day we got on a bus and then later we got on a truck to tack us threw the jungle into the next camp. Our truck got stuck so we had to walk 15min to get there. We had to wait until everything arrived then we pitch up our tents and went on a walk when we got back we had dinner and went to bed. The next day we packed up and walked for half and hour and waited for our trucks to arrive. When they did we went to a place and had lunch. We moved to another camping site and stayed there for the night. The next morning we did not need to pack up because we were going to stay there one more night, that day we went to the Elephant Sanctuary. We did some community service by cleaning elephant dung. WE had lunch and swam with the elephants. While swimming with them when I was getting out I chipped my toe on a rock and some of my toe nail and skin fell off. The next day we went to the deer land park and then went home.

Life In KL

I am a student in The International School OF Kuala Lumpur(ISKL). In KL there is a wide range of cultures from English to Malaysian. This is a great country we have a wide variety of good food and excellent shops and fun Theme Park. I love living here.  I love living here because there is so much to do here.

 

HI! I am Conor Cheng I love sport and computer games. My most favorite computer game is World Of Warcraft (WOW) even though I am not that good but I still find it fun. My favorite sport is Rugby because I am good at it (but not the best). On the weekend I usually do all my work on Friday, Relax and go on the computer and Sunday at 3:00 to 5:00 I go to Rugby. My favorite food is my dads pork Ribs. I also have a really Cute cat that I play with every day but he sometimes bites (but it does not hurt). It is called Bageerah

5 Month's of Grade 6

Grade 6! So far grade 6 has been a really fun year. The first 5 months of 6 grade has been really interesting because of all the things that have happened. We have had 2 MS parties so far and a lot of fun sport and activities like soccer and basketball. One Really good thing that has happened in these 5 months is the friends I have made I have made countless numbers of new friends so far. Grade 6 is the best school year in my life so far all the things we do like how much freedom we have and how much organization skills and we get our own lockers plus all the sport they have in middle school it is so fun. I chose these words because they are all the things I have faced so far in middle school. They are all probably under crazy because so far it has been so hard and everything has been crazy this year, organizing everything the food here is crazy good and the sport and activities are crazily fun.

Save the Animals

To save animals we could stop being cruel to them, don't hit animals as well as throwing rocks at them and chopping legs and noses off of the animals as well as other cruel things. I think it is sick that anyone would even think of hurting a cute cat or dog. To also save animals we could donate to the SPCA and other animal shelters. We could donate dog/cat food, old blankets and towels, dog and cat toys and other objects animals might like or use.

Instead of buying from pure bred animals buy from animal shelters. That is because more and more animals get put in animal shelters each year. If you buy from a shop then you are just buying animals that they mate over and over to make more instead of buying an animal that is waiting for a owner to come and if no one comes then they get put to sleep.

So help animals from dying or being in pain and make a difference by donating to animal shelters and don't be cruel to animals no matter how big or small or what they look like.

If my cat lost all it's hair I would still love it and still not be cruel to my cat Bagheera
